Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Project Manager to support mission-critical government projects. The PM leads project execution, coordinating team members to deliver on time, within budget, and to required quality.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, RFP prep, and regular owner reports while guiding an interdisciplinary team through the project lifecycle. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, including GC exposure.
• PM role experience with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
• Mastery of reading construction drawings and interpreting specs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards and company policies.
• Create and manage project budgets for all assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
• Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and generate owner reports.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, pay applications; negotiate change orders.
• Schedule projects; ensure quality control and proper logistics.
• Manage closeout processes and client communications.
• Collaborate with site team and subcontractors throughout the project.
