Job summary

Leidos is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer in Ashburn, VA, supporting a CBP mission program. You will architect, design, build, and support scalable real-time systems, leveraging cloud and Agile practices in a SecDevOps environment.

You will work across Java/JavaScript stacks, React/Angular, microservices, and RESTful APIs, with a focus on CI/CD, JWT security, and modern front-end tooling. Hybrid work with on-site presence in Ashburn twice weekly.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 12 years related exp or MS with 10 years exp; or 4 years exp in lieu of degree.
• Ability to obtain CBP Background Investigation prior to start.
• US citizenship required.
• Experience applying AI/ML to software lifecycle and mission support.
• Experience with Agile Scrum in SecDevOps.
• Experience with containerized apps, preferably Konvoy.
• 3+ years building cloud-ready apps or migration to cloud.
• 2+ years in Java/JSF/JavaScript/Spring or Selenium tooling.
• 2+ years in at least two: React/Angular/Redux/HTML/JSX/ES6/JS, JWT, JSON, Babel, Webpack, Axios, NPM, Node.
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript; DOM and modern JS frameworks.
• Deep understanding of React/Angular core concepts.
• 2+ years RESTful APIs and microservices; Axios for REST calls.
• Hands-on HTML/CSS/Bootstrap; JWT for authorization.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available real-time systems.
• Collaborate to define best designs aligned with objectives, timelines, and resources.
• Lead or participate in major deliverables across the SDLC from scope to testing.
