Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support CBP mission systems in the Homeland Sector. You will architect, build, and enhance real-time, scalable software in a cloud-ready, SecDevOps environment.

Candidate must be in Ashburn, VA twice weekly and hold U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a CBP background investigation. Strong Java/JavaScript, React/Angular, and RESTful/Microservices experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS with related experience, or 4 years of related work in lieu of degree.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain CBP background investigation.
• Experience with AI/ML as part of the software lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile Scrum and SecDevOps environments.
• Experience with containerized apps, preferably Konvoy.
• 3+ years building cloud-ready apps; cloud migration experience.
• 2+ years with JAVA, JSF, JavaScript, Spring, or Selenium.
• 2+ years with React, Angular, Redux, HTML, CSS, ES6, JWT, JSON, Babel, Webpack, Axios, NPM, Node.
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript, understanding DOM and React/Angular core principles.
• 2+ years with Microservices/RESTful APIs and JWT-based auth.
• HTML/CSS/Bootstrap hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems.
• Guide major deliverables through the SDLC: scope, estimates, architecture, coding, and testing.
• Collaborate to select best designs based on customer objectives and constraints.
• Work in Ashburn, VA, twice a week as part of the onsite requirement.
