Job summary

Leidos in Ashburn, VA is seeking an experienced SQL Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases and solutions supporting CBP PSPD missions.

The Senior SQL Developer will collaborate with data analysts, application developers, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and support mission-critical applications. The role requires on-site presence in Ashburn twice weekly and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 8+ years related experience, or Master's with 8+ years.
• 5+ years SQL development in PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain CBP background investigation.
• Advanced SQL skills and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production systems.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and migration efforts.
• Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with DHS and federal standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Document database processes, structures, and procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
