Evans, Inc. is hiring a Network Engineer to join a key FAA contract, supporting air traffic system deployment in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

You will diagnose networks, coordinate site readiness, and assist field teams both remotely and on-site, engaging with providers and engineering stakeholders for successful implementation. The role requires CCNA certification, 5+ years in networking, and experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE; travel about 20% nationally, with occasional on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of networking/IT infrastructure experience; Master/PhD may substitute for up to 6 years.
• CCNA certification required.
• Experience with Cisco IOS/IOS-XE and Windows/Linux tools.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support for network deployment, integration, and commissioning activities in mission-critical air traffic systems.
• Serve as primary technical resource during live deployments and cutovers; guide field personnel remotely and on-site.
• Coordinate site readiness and deployment requirements; track prerequisites and circuit delivery; escalate blockers.
• Collaborate with engineers, providers, and site personnel to resolve network and infrastructure issues.
• Support hardware installation, integration, commissioning, and documentation; validate equipment readiness and test results.
