Job summary

Kiewit Corporation is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead multidiscipinary engineering activities for mission critical facilities, including data centers and industrial energy projects. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction teams, drive design reviews, and manage risks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role prefers Lenexa, KS or Lone Tree, CO offices with relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical discipline.
• Experience managing engineering or design on large, complex construction projects.
• Strong coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Experience with mission critical facilities (data centers, semiconductor, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams and aggressive schedules.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution from early design through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams including electrical, mechanical, structural, civil, architectural, controls, and specialty systems.
• Manage engineering scope, schedule, deliverables, priorities, forecasting, change orders, and milestones.
• Drive design reviews focusing on constructability, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and operational reliability.
• Partner with construction teams to align engineering with procurement, fabrication, installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with owners, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
