Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is recruiting for a Cyber Excepted Service IT position in the Global Service Desk Division. The role focuses on technical analysis, customer liaison, and resolving complex application and desktop issues in a fast-paced federal environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, problem resolution, and applying DoD information security practices. Candidates may be required to obtain or maintain a security clearance and will operate under various shift

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship is required.
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
Security clearance may be required as a condition of employment (Secret/TS/TS/SCI depending on position).
Shift work, recall/on-call, and rotating shifts may be required.
Foundational Residential Qualification requirements and DoD 8140 cybersecurity credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical analyst and primary customer liaison.
Resolve problems involving integration or configuration issues across applications and desktops.
Provide troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving customer application problems.
Research trends in customer support and provide feedback for improvements.
Apply information security policies in the delivery of customer services.
