Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking qualified professionals to support the U.S. Cyber Command mission in the Cyber Excepted Service.

This position is Professional, Full Performance level within the CES Occupational Structure, located in the DISA HC/Mainframe LOB-Multiple Agencies. Responsibilities include server and software installation, cloud resource design, and security practices; it requires collaboration across teams and interagency training to stay current with DoD

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in reviewing IT-related work for accuracy and consistency with standards.
• Customer service experience building relationships and tailoring IT products/services to customer needs.
• Oral communication skills for briefing mid-level management and IT staff on system status.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, software, and essential IT infrastructure.
• Work with teams on design, deployment, and management of cloud resources across platforms.
• Gather information and report findings about cloud provisioning, configuration, and maintenance practices; monitor performance.
• Participate in interagency teams and training to stay informed about evolving tech trends and DoD objectives.
• Gather information on technology vendors and products; contribute to IT financial aspects.
