Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Data Scientist to join our team to deliver mission-critical data capabilities for U.S. Government and defense organizations.

You will build data products, pipelines, and user-facing tools, working with government teams to translate requirements into practical solutions. You will ingest and model data, develop analytic datasets, and deploy solutions leveraging Palantir Foundry, with a focus on secure, scalable, and maintainable software throughout the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline with 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience building data products, software applications, or analytics tools.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and C++ or similar languages; ability to choose appropriate tool for the problem.
• Experience delivering user-facing technical products from requirements to deployment and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Work with government technical teams and users to translate mission needs into data products.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and sustain data pipelines and analytics workflows.
• Ingest, clean, transform, and model structured/unstructured data from multiple sources using Python/SQL.
• Develop structured data models and analytical datasets for repeatable reporting and operations.
• Build dashboards and user-facing tools enabling nontechnical users to interact with data.
• Develop and deploy solutions using Palantir Foundry and other approved platforms.
• Support full SDLC: requirements, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, onboarding, and sustainment.
• Apply version control, automated testing, and documentation to ensure secure, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize enhancements based on feedback.
