Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including power, cooling, and fire/life safety systems. You will join a diverse team ensuring high uptime and efficient operations for AWS infrastructure.

Role involves on-site work at multiple data centers, with potential travel between sites, and shifts up to 12 hours with possible on-call rotations to meet site needs.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance or 1+ years of mechanical facilities.
• Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment to ensure 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor and respond to Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS events.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment and assist in rack-level tasks.
