Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking an experienced Data Center Superintendent to lead field operations on mission-critical projects across Texas. This role oversees safety, quality, and schedule performance while coordinating with clients, trade partners, and project teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing complex MEP systems and understands fast-paced data center schedules in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 3+ years in Superintendent role on large-scale projects.
• Experience leading data center, mission critical, or similarly complex MEP-intensive projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all field construction activities from sitework through commissioning and turnover.
• Develop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term project schedules in coordination with Project Management.
• Lead daily field operations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities.
• Conduct regular subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning sessions.
• Review construction documents and identify conflicts or constructability concerns.
