Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking a Data Center-focused Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on mission-critical projects in Texas. You will assist the Superintendent, coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, maintain schedules, and ensure work aligns with contract documents and owner expectations.

Qualifications

2+ years of construction field experience on commercial projects.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction activities.
Coordinate subcontractor work to meet schedules, specs, and quality standards.
Conduct routine jobsite walks to verify progress and identify issues.
Assist with project logistics planning, site access control, and material deliveries.
