Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Superintendent with Mission Critical experience to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role focuses on commissioning data centers and leading field activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring work is on time and within budget.

You will oversee safety, quality control, and project administration, attend weekly progress meetings, and mentor field personnel while upholding our standards and values.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred.
• 1
• 4 to 7 years of experience with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role.
• Experience working on mission critical construction projects.
• Experience commissioning data centers.
• Organizes people, tools, and equipment and plans/manages multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Reviews progress and cost reports, schedules and requirements with Project Manager/Senior Superintendent.
• Participates in preconstruction planning regarding schedule and budget.
• Ensures materials comply with contract documents and quality specifications.
• Directs subcontractor and BB Construction field personnel in designated areas of expertise.
• Maintains safe and respectful working environment via safety, quality control and related programs.
• Attends weekly project progress meetings with subcontractor representatives.
• Assists in project closeout and transition to customer.
