Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Superintendent for mission critical data center projects. You will lead large teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence on complex data center builds.

Role requires extensive field supervision, strong leadership, and a track record with commercial construction; data center experience is strongly preferred. Travel and odd hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fifteen years or more of commercial construction field experience.
• Five years or more of direct supervisory experience with subcontractors.
• Experience in superintendent roles; mission critical/data center experience preferred.
• Proficient PC skills and MS Office suite.
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Scheduling with industry standard software; commissioning and MEP sequencing experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and supports updates to progress and cost reports to sustain project financial health.
• Understands scope with client and trades to minimize change orders.
• Preconstruction planning for schedule and budget; reviews trade scopes.
• Manages project scheduling and sequencing; oversees commissioning schedules.
• Directs subcontractors and internal teams for MEP and commissioning.
• Leads QA/QC and turnover to client; builds client relationships.
• Mentors project team and promotes company culture through service and leadership.
