Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction in Dallas, TX seeks a Superintendent with Mission Critical experience to join our team. This role manages field activities and supervises subcontractors to ensure the project is built on time and within budget, following company policies and safety standards.

The candidate will oversee commissioning data centers, coordinate with the project team, and help maintain a safe, efficient worksite while meeting customer expectations and project goals.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 4 to 7 years of experience with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role.
• Experience working on mission critical construction projects.
• Experience commissioning data centers.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates subcontractor and Balfour Beatty Construction field personnel in designated areas of expertise.
• Assists the Senior Superintendent in communicating expectations and direction with subcontractors and employees, regarding schedules, methods, and safety.
• Maintains a safe and respectful working environment by implementing safety, risk management, and quality control programs.
• Attends weekly project progress meetings and understands upcoming work.
• Assists in project closeout to settle financial obligations and transition the project to the customer.

Education

B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
