Job summary

STV, Inc. seeks an on-site Safety Manager to lead safety for large-scale data center construction projects in Wisconsin. You will champion safety planning, compliance, investigations, and training across mobilization, active construction, commissioning, and turnover.

You will build a proactive safety culture, enforce OSHA standards, and mentor teams while tracking metrics and delivering continuous improvements. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field.
• 8+ years of construction safety experience on large projects (data centers preferred).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Experience with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Ability to influence safety culture across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project's primary safety professional and advisor to management, field teams, contractors, and client representatives.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and site safety plans.
• Lead safety planning, audits, incident prevention, investigations, and training across all construction phases.
• Monitor compliance with regulations and project-specific safety protocols; perform site inspections.
• Drive continuous improvement through hazard recognition, risk reduction, and safety metrics.
