Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Construction Quality Manager to join our Mission Critical team on a hyperscale data center project near Philadelphia, PA. The role implements and maintains Barton Malow's quality program to ensure self-perform, subcontractor, and vendor work meets quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA/QC inspection experience on mission critical or data center projects, with familiarity with inspection and testing techniques for critical infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction QA/QC inspection experience on mission critical, hyperscale data center, or industrial projects.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods within the region.
• Experience with construction inspection and testing techniques for critical infrastructure systems.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective quality control program across contract documents and specs.
• Review and approve subcontractor quality programs and inspection records.
• Ensure all required testing and inspections are performed.
• Establish witness and hold points for inspections.
• Identify and disposition nonconformance items and stop-work actions.
• Coordinate qualified testing laboratories and third-party inspection agencies.
• Submit a monthly quality report with measurable results.
• Maintain project quality documentation and logs.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on quality issues.
• Manage startup and commissioning of critical infrastructure systems in the data center.
