Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Construction Quality Manager for a hyperscale data center project near Philadelphia, PA. The role leads the quality program across self-perform, subcontractor, and vendor work to meet quality standards and contractual requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction QA/QC on mission critical or industrial projects, with familiarity in inspection/testing techniques for critical infrastructure. Travel is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction QA/QC inspection experience on mission critical, hyperscale data center, or industrial projects.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods within the region.
• Experience with construction inspection and testing techniques for critical infrastructure (power, cooling, controls).
• OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an effective quality control program meeting project requirements and Barton Malow Quality Manual.
• Review and approve subcontractor quality programs and inspection/test procedures.
• Ensure all required testing and inspections are performed.
• Establish witness/hold points for inspections as appropriate.
• Identify and disposition nonconformance items and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing laboratories and third-party inspection agencies.
• Submit monthly quality reports with measurable results.
• Maintain project quality documentation and logs; support KPI tracking.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on quality issues and startup/commissioning of critical systems.
