Job summary

Shawmut Design and Construction is looking for a Project Manager – Mission Critical to oversee large-scale data center projects in Boston, MA. The role involves managing projects valued between $25M and $100M while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management and strong communication skills. A bachelor's degree is required, and regular travel across the United States is necessary. The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $200,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction.
• At least 3+ years managing hyperscale and/or colocation data center projects.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects between $25M and $100M.

Responsibilities

• Manage mission‑critical construction projects valued between $25M and $100M.
• Maintain responsibility for overall project performance, including schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
• Lead key project meetings and participate in project budgeting.
