Job summary

MCL Construction in Omaha seeks a Project Manager who is precise, relentlessly accountable, and fluent in the demands of mission-critical construction, where uptime is non-negotiable.

Own the outcome from kickoff to closeout; drive schedule, budget, and quality; manage risk around commissioning and live environments; coordinate MEP trades and commissioning agents; and deepen client trust with hyperscale and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering
• 8+ years in commercial construction including 3+ years as PM
• Experience in data center or mission critical projects preferred
• Knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning, and redundancy standards (N+1, 2N)
• Budgets, contracts, and project controls in high-stakes, schedule-driven environments
• Experience with GMP and CMAR delivery methods is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Own the outcome — full ownership of mission-critical projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Drive execution — maintain schedule, budget, and quality where downtime is non-negotiable.
• Anticipate risk — especially around commissioning, redundancy, and live-environment work.
• Coordinate the complexity — align superintendents, MEP trades, and commissioning agents on one schedule.
• Manage with precision — contracts, cost controls, and reporting with zero surprises.
• Deepen client trust — relationships with hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients that drive repeat work.
