Job summary

JLL seeks a Mission Critical Lead Facilities Operator in Richardson, TX to lead daily operations and administration of mission critical infrastructure. You will schedule shifts, supervise technicians, and coordinate with vendors to ensure uptime and reliability for critical facilities, while protecting asset value and client service quality.

The role requires technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems, plus strong communication skills to present complex

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or technical training.
• Ability to understand construction docs and update drawings.
• License for Operating Engineer or equivalent; Universal CFC license.
• Experience leading a technically oriented team in data center environments.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing ability.

Responsibilities

• Schedule facilities operators for shift coverage at each site.
• Directly manage operators and maintenance staff; provide training and development.
• Oversee vendor personnel and third-party technical teams on site.
• Ensure safe, reliable operations and 100% uptime for critical facilities.
• Interpret plans, manage preventative and corrective maintenance, and optimize systems.
