Job summary

JLL is seeking an Engineering Operations Manager to lead maintenance and repair operations across a dynamic portfolio in Allen, Dallas, and Richardson, TX. You will manage budgets, vendor performance, and service delivery while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Lead engineers, planners, and contractors; implement preventive maintenance to extend asset life, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement using data-driven KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 7+ years in facilities management hard services.
• 5+ years in people management; leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation.
• Proven budget management, financial analysis, and cost control.
• Excellent communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel between properties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for maintenance and repair operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define maintenance goals and budget impacts.
• Oversee delivery of services; ensure high quality and SLA adherence.
• Develop strategies to optimize facility performance and minimize downtime.
• Monitor vendor performance with KPIs; drive continuous improvement.
• Lead budgets for maintenance operations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and health & safety standards.
• Manage and develop on-site engineers, planners, and contractors.
