Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Sullivan, IN seeks a Superintendent for Mission Critical Construction to lead data center projects over 100k sq ft, ensuring safety and quality from day one. You will manage field operations, coordinate subs, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery while reporting to the project manager.

The role requires site leadership, scheduling discipline, and a proactive approach to logistics and cost control, with travel stipends provided for weekend returns.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of construction experience as a superintendent on data center projects that are a minimum of 100k sq ft
• Willingness to work site located in Sullivan, Indiana with travel stipends back home scheduled every other weekend.
• Computer skills: proficiency in using Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing/walking for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Attend the post-award review meeting to receive project information for preplanning before construction
• Participate with the project manager in preparing a schedule of construction activities and manpower requirements
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors to integrate their work with project schedules and progress
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any schedule changes
• Assist in preparation of job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs
