Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking a hands-on Superintendent for data center projects (100k sq ft+), based in Sullivan, Indiana. You will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence from day one.

The role requires 1–5 years of superintendent experience on large-scale data centers, valid driver's license, and strong proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook with scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of construction experience as a superintendent on data center projects that are a minimum of 100k sq ft
• Willingness to work site in Sullivan, Indiana with travel stipends back home every other weekend
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs
• Valid driver's license in your state of residence
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing/walking long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award reviews for preplanning details
• Prepare schedules, organization structure, staffing, and equipment requirements
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule
• Assist in duties including shipment of materials and approvals of shop drawings
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with schedules and progress
• Inform supervisors/subcontractors of schedule changes
• Assist in progress and cost reporting
• Review requisitions, POs, invoices, and significant reports
• Cooperate with owner representatives and architects at all times
• Hold job-site meetings with PM and regional manager
• Report progress, plans, and problems to the PM
• Maintain a daily diary of project facts and approvals
• Adhere to safety programs and manage deadlines
• Organize people, tools, and equipment to achieve results
• Demonstrate leadership and conflict-resolution skills
• Evaluate processes for quality and customer satisfaction
