Job summary

NS2 Mission is seeking a Cyber Network Operator (Full Performance) in Chantilly, VA. You will configure, maintain, and evaluate network infrastructure and capabilities enabling complex cyber operations.

You will work with cybersecurity professionals, supporting operational infrastructure, analyzing environments, and ensuring tools are ready to meet evolving mission requirements. Travel CONUS/OCONUS may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years in a cyber network engineering or IT/cyber operations role.
• Government certification or equivalent as required.
• Understanding of mobile technologies and their implementations.
• Knowledge of networking architecture, traffic, ISPs, and internet functionality.
• System administration across Windows, Unix, Linux, macOS, and mobile OS.
• Familiarity with large-scale service components (web servers, databases, load balancers, storage).
• Ability to assess technical risk and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage network technologies to support operational activities.
• Maintain operational infrastructure and intermediate platforms for mission requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to share methodologies and coordinate activities.
• Analyze network architectures and traffic patterns to meet objectives.
