Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead mission-critical and large commercial projects in Texas from pre-construction through closeout. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, coordinating with owners, architects, and field teams to ensure on-time delivery with high safety standards.

This role requires construction management experience, strong leadership, and familiarity with Procore or similar tools. ESOP culture and career growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in construction science or commensurate experience.
• OSHA 30 Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily oversight of all assigned projects.
• Active participation in pre-construction.
• Monitor job progress, subcontractor performance & project costs.
• Review RFIs and submittals.
• Negotiate with subcontractors & suppliers.
• Prepare monthly billings and financial reports.
• Lead Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings weekly.
• Review project schedule and subcontractor pay applications.
• Oversee timely project close out.
• Attend Owner-sponsored events.
• Train Asst. PM and Project Coordinator when assigned.
• Understand owner and subcontractor contracts.
