Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Heavy Civil/Mission Critical Project Engineer/QC or Field Engineer in North Dakota. This position focuses on managing field logistics and ensuring compliance with engineering standards across various projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in construction management or a related field, and 1-3 years of project management experience. Responsibilities include preparing purchase orders, validating billing quantities, and developing strong relationships with clients and vendors.

This role requires extensive travel to mission critical job sites and a clean motor vehicle record.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of estimating and managing projects experience in related scope of work.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Ability to maintain compliance with all Veit policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage field logistics and update project managers and contractors.
• Prepare, review, and approve supplier purchase orders.
• Validate and reconcile quantities for billing purposes.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Assist in drafting subcontractor agreements.
