HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager in Berwick, PA to help manage projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role emphasizes budget control, scheduling, documentation, and collaboration with field teams and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in commercial construction, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and proficiency with MS Office, ProCore, and project tools. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, including work on commercial projects.
• Experience on commercial job sites is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards across projects.
• Assist in creating and managing project budgets.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages.
• Help conduct project meetings and set milestones.
• Establish job processes for RFIs, submittals, and pay applications.
• Update project schedules and ensure quality control.
• Assist in closeout and collaborate with site operations.
