Job summary

Peraton is hiring Cable/Infrastructure Technicians to support SITEC-3 for USSOCOM. Duties include installing, testing, and maintaining LAN cabling and related infrastructure at Fort Campbell, KY, with work potentially required at multiple sites.

A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required, and several BICSI and other certifications are preferred. The role involves handling voice, data, and video cable systems, along with equipment and datacenter infrastructure maintenance.

Qualifications

DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
2+ years with BS/BA; 4+ years with AS/AA; 0 years with MS/MA or High School Diploma and 6+ years of experience.
Familiar with inside and outside plant installation – Preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, replace, repair, remove, terminate, and test LAN cabling per standards.
Maintain cable labeling standards according to policies and directives.
Install new cable and terminate/test it.
Test and troubleshoot faulty cable.
Cross-connect circuits using patch panels.
Maintain core datacenter infrastructure and cabling organization.
Some roles may require shift work to support USSOCOM mission.
