Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• 5+ years of experience with 2+ years leading projects.
• Experience with a variety of modern web stacks.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong RESTful API, HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/JSON knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, and Typescript.
• Experience with Node.js and Electron frameworks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
• Cloud and hybrid infra (AWS/Azure); Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, analyze, and normalize requirements into specs.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software per team processes.
• Develop automated tests and flight infrastructure where needed.
• Communicate clearly with team via multiple channels and meetings.
• Collaborate with self-driving software teams to add features.
• Develop standards-compliant and extensible code.
• Troubleshoot system issues raised by users.
• Provide effort estimates and report status on time.
• Contribute to mission planning products and docs.
• Support mission operations in Mission Control.
• Prepare training materials for new tools.
• Participate in Mission Control Training and post-mission improvements.
