Job summary

Raytheon’s Southwest Operations and Mission Analysis team seeks a Spacecraft Concept & Mission Engineer in Tucson, AZ to develop satellite concepts, assess CONOPs, and support new mission opportunities for national security space customers. Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, unless restricted by law/regulations.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, and/or C++ to model physical systems.
• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mission concepts and hardware for feasibility and performance drivers.
• Develop mission analysis, performance analysis, and mission planning toolsets.
• Create visualizations of complex systems and mission CONOPs in STK or similar tools.
• Coordinate with product line management and customers for new business opportunities.
