Responsibilities

  • Support commercial service operations from the service operations command center.
  • Complete pre-mission startup checklists to ensure operational teams are ready for service.
  • Monitor daily operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep the market running smoothly.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for basic vehicle troubleshooting.
  • Create, document, and escalation service disruption events through an internal ticketing system.
  • Dispatch Fleet Response teams when vehicle recovery is required and coordinate status updates with relevant teams.
  • Monitor operational conditions and manage market configurations, including restricted areas and hours of operation.
  • Respond to operational conditions such as traffic incidents, civic events, emergency scenes, and other situations that may impact service.
  • Monitor fleet and crew allocation in real time to support safe and efficient operations.
  • Assist with operational documentation, process improvements, and other Mission Control activities.

Job description

We are seeking a Delivery Driver/ Mission Control Associate to support the safe and efficient operation of an autonomous vehicle fleet from a service operations command center.

In this role, you will work behind the scenes to help ensure that every requested trip is completed safely and successfully. Similar to an air traffic control environment, Mission Control monitors service operations at both the overall fleet and individual vehicle levels, manages fleet and crew allocation in real time, and responds to operational issues that may impact safety or service efficiency.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to communicate effectively while managing multiple operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule

Multiple shifts are available, including:

AM Shifts
  • Tuesday–Saturday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sunday–Thursday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Friday–Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
PM Shifts
  • Friday–Tuesday: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Specific shift availability will be discussed during the hiring process.

Training Schedule

Training will be conducted Monday–Friday.

  • AM Training: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • PM Training: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Training schedules and final shift assignments will be provided during the hiring process.
