Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc. seeks a Software System Engineer to support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office. The role involves developing system-level features that describe MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria to guide software implementation.

The candidate will lead reviews, adjudicate comments, and document features using an MBSE approach within an Agile framework, collaborating with contractors, government civilians, and operators in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• 10+ years of system engineering experience.
• Experience with DoD programs and Army Air and Missile Defense is highly desirable.
• US Citizenship and Huntsville area residency or willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level features describing MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to guide software implementation.
• Lead reviews and adjudicate comments made against the features.
• Describe features using an MBSE approach within an Agile workflow.
