Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Software Solutions Engineer/Integrator to support Space Systems Command's Kronos FoS, advancing C2 and BM by integrating new capabilities with legacy systems and modernizing the BMC3I software ecosystem. This position is based in El Segundo, CA, and works with SSC's BMC3 Program Office to deliver functional software across architecture, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity domains.

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 14+ years or Master's with 12+ years in software/DoD systems.
• Experience with software engineering, architecture, integration, APIs, data integration.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence; security background check (T5) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead software integration across legacy and modern systems.
• Develop roadmaps for modernization and transition to production.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity/DevSecOps, testers, PMs, vendors.
• Assess readiness across APIs, data, services, and interfaces.
• Apply Agile, DevSecOps, and Software Acquisition practices.
• Advise leadership on architecture and modernization priorities.
