Job summary

SciTec, a Firefly Aerospace Company, is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to ensure security and operational resilience of mission-critical systems across their lifecycle. The ideal candidate works hands-on with engineering teams to harden environments, remediate findings, and maintain cyber readiness.

The role emphasizes embedded security in system design, vulnerability management, and ongoing accreditation activities to support DoD programs. Eligible applicants must be U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain necessary security clearances.
• Hands-on cybersecurity architecture experience across systems, networks, and platforms.
• Ability to partner with engineering teams to embed security into designs and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate long-term cybersecurity strategy for development, production, and sustainment.
• Harden mission infrastructure assets across servers, network devices, and storage.
• Apply DISA STIG configurations and security baselines in deployed environments.
• Support RMF activities and create ATO artifacts and documentation.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, assess findings, and coordinate remediation.
