The Aerospace Corporation is hiring a Mission Cyber Architect within the Cyberspace Systems & Security Subdivision (CS3) to work with government and industry partners. You will define robust cybersecurity measures, develop security requirements, and guide mission-critical decisions across complex systems.

We seek a leader with extensive cybersecurity experience, the ability to coordinate across teams, and a active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field (Information Security/Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related subject).
• 12+ years of system security experience across multiple cybersecurity domains.
• Experience leading cybersecurity teams and programs with mission impact.
• Willing to travel ~30% locally and long distance if required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required to obtain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity systems engineering support to government and contractors.
• Design, implement, and monitor cybersecurity measures across the system lifecycle.
• Review security architecture for ground and space systems and suggest improvements.
• Define system security requirements and develop detailed cybersecurity designs.
• Identify strategies to mitigate cybersecurity vulnerabilities and risks.
• Support program protection and risk management activities per security directives.
• Offer cybersecurity expertise for critical decision points and incident assessments.
