Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Program Quality Manager in the United States to lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and QA personnel in delivering mission assurance across production environments.

The role focuses on developing and enforcing Program Quality Plans, conducting risk assessments, and managing budgets while coordinating with Program Managers to meet DoD contract requirements. Travel is expected up to 10% and active security clearances are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science plus 8 years experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years experience.
• 2 years working within a production environment
• Ability to obtain a US Government Secret clearance
• U.S. Citizenship eligible for Special Access Program Clearance
• 10% travel

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and inspectors
• Support technical reviews of drawings, SOWs, and requirements documents
• Perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability activities
• Assess performance and risks and determine resources to ensure mission assurance
• Assist Program Managers with Mission Assurance and Program Management requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain Program Quality Plans
• Assign program tasks to functional-area MA and PQE personnel
• Support program FRBs, including root-cause identification and corrective-action implementation
• Lead preparation and execution of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Boards
• Develop and maintain program metrics
• Prepare Program Management Program Review packages
• Manage budget and cost accounting for assigned work packages
• Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests
• Support IPT MA and QE personnel with Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow-down
• Monitor closure of conditionally accepted hardware and work corrective actions with IPT MA and QEs
• Provide guidance and expertise to MA and QA engineers
