Vannevar is hiring a Product Manager for the Mission Agents team. You will shape end-to-end features that turn user intent into execution—from chat and tasking to persistent agent workflows—working with operators and engineers to ship capabilities that move the mission forward.

This role demands strong judgment, the ability to navigate conflicting inputs, and clear communication. You will own the product direction and push decisions in a fast-paced defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong product judgment and prioritization decisions.
• Ability to form independent opinions from incomplete inputs.
• Experience with complex systems or platforms.
• Experience operating under real constraints (security, infra, deployment).
• High ownership and bias toward action in delivery.
• Technical fluency for engineering discussions.
• Clear, direct communication of decisions and tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize signal into direction for mission agents initiative.
• Define how agents behave with objectives, constraints, and trust tiers.
• Improve output quality across models, memory, and workflows.
• Own product direction end-to-end from concept to delivery.
• Work directly with users to build intuition for workflows.
• Translate real-world signals into clear product direction.
• Partner with engineering to deliver impactful, sound solutions.
• Drive alignment in ambiguous situations among stakeholders.
