  • Utilize various methods (door knocking, social media, etc.) to find missing youth.
  • Assist in training staff and researching new search methods.
  • Complete assessments on returning youth and provide Family Finding investigative efforts.
  • Advocate for children and families and represent the agency in professional/community groups.
  • Ensure paperwork is completed timely and attend all required meetings.
  • Develop resources and improve contract outcomes.

We are looking for a Missing Youth Specialists to join our team and provide support and oversight to permanency staff in their effort to locate missing youth. Join us and help make a difference!

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred from an accredited college or university with a degree in social work, counseling, family therapy, child and family development, criminal justice, sociology, forensics, education or other related field
