Job summary

The NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) protects and promotes the safety and well‑being of children and families through child welfare and juvenile justice services, foster care, and subsidized childcare vouchers.

The Division of Family Permanency Services and the Office of Older Youth Development Services provide support, guidance, and programs to improve permanency and safety for youth in foster care.

Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college.
• Candidates must pass a test to demonstrate English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating training on policies and directives on youth that go missing.
• Reviewing and processing MCOU AWOC referrals.
• Working directly with provider agencies to support case planners with TA and best practice.
• Collaborating with Investigative Consultants to recover AWOC youth.
• Coordinating with Safe Horizon shelters to recover youth in foster care and participating in cross-team conferences.
