Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Northridge, CA, seeks a seasoned Program Manager 3 to lead AARGM and AARGM-ER development programs within the Advanced Weapons Business Unit. This on-site role requires a current U.S. Government Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP.

The Development Program Manager will own cost, schedule, and technical performance, directing IPTs and coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution and compliance with defense standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of development programs experience.
• Master’s degree and 8 years of development programs experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional development teams in aerospace/defense.
• Proficiency with EVMS, IMS, and risk management processes.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional IPTs to meet cost, schedule and technical goals.
• Cultivate customer relationships to pursue new opportunities.
• Develop long-term plans, capture strategies and proposals.
• Establish program organization to meet requirements and sub-organizations.
• Monitor performance and report status to stakeholders.
• Present to customers and management; support contract negotiations.
• Identify and manage program requirements and baselines.
• Allocate resources and manage government property and suppliers.
