Job summary

Davidson is seeking a Systems Engineer Test Analyst (SEIT) in Huntsville, AL to support the Missile Defense Agency. The role focuses on system-level and element-level performance analysis of MDS test data, including HWIL and flight tests, to generate objective assessments aligned with test objectives and technical intent.

The successful candidate will develop analytical approaches, data tools, and visualization products, collaborating with engineering teams, Warfighters, and program focal points

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 3-7 years of relevant engineering, test, systems analysis, or analytical experience.
• Experience performing technical analysis of complex systems or test data.
• Ability to develop analytical approaches and independently solve complex problems.
• Proficiency with analytical tools and data analysis platforms such as Python, MATLAB, SQL, R.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level and element-level performance analysis of Missile Defense System test data.
• Analyze data from ground test, HWIL, flight test, real-world events, and other test activities.
• Evaluate kill chain components: sensor acquisition, tracking, discrimination, engagement planning, and interoperability.
• Develop analytical approaches, tools, scripts, models, and visualizations for test analysis.
• Prepare and present analytical findings during reviews, meetings, and stakeholder forums.
