Job summary

DESE Research in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking an Integration Test Engineer to support the Missile Defense System (MDS) GMD Element. The role involves testing, integration, and troubleshooting for various components and systems.

The successful candidate will need a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and at least five years of relevant experience. Benefits include competitive insurance plans, flexible schedules, and a performance bonus program.

Qualifications

Five or more years of experience in system integration or test engineering of simulation systems.
Experience with missile defense programs.
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software integration failures/issues.
Experience doing root cause/corrective action (RCCA) analysis.
Experience with briefing government customers and industry partners.
Experience developing test documentation and test procedures/plans.
Self-motivated individual with good people skills.
An active SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

Support Systems Integration, Test, and Readiness (SITR) GMD Element engineering and integration.
Support testing, integrating, operating, troubleshooting efforts of the GMD Integration Lab.
Contribute to Cybersecurity efforts and obsolescence mitigations.
