Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to serve as the Release Train Engineer for the THAAD program. The RTE will facilitate the Agile Release Train across systems, software, hardware, and test to deliver high‑quality capabilities on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a STEM degree, SAFe/Agile expertise, and experience with missile defense programs, plus US citizenship and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle including requirements, integration, and analysis.
Experience with Missile Defense Programs such as THAAD, Patriot, AEGIS, or C2BMC.
Experience engaging with government customers and senior leadership on milestones.
Experience using Agile methodologies.
Active or current Secret security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

Agile Coordination: Lead ART ceremonies, maintain cadence, and remove impediments across cross‑functional teams.
Program Execution: Align PI objectives with THAAD architecture and backlog integration.
Metrics Reporting: Track ART performance and produce status reports for senior leadership and customers.
