Job summary

nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) invites a Missile Defense Modeling & Simulation VV&A Engineer to join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, Alabama.

You will optimize MDS models and simulations, support testing and experimentation, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure VV&A integrity and accreditation readiness. The role requires a Bachelor's in a STEM field, 7+ years in missile defense or DoD projects, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field.
• 7+ years of missile defense-related or DoD program experience.
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide M&S accreditation recommendations to the Accreditation Authority by performing M&S VV&A to assess MDS effectiveness and interoperability for MDA intended uses.
• Develop MDS M&S V&V plans/reports and accreditation plans/reports.
• Conduct SFVE analysis and coordinate release of SFVE event analysis reports to support validation of MDS integrated system M&S in HWIL and digital environments.
• Update and/or author and staff for approval: documents, studies, assessments, and reports including V&V and Accreditation Reports.
• Perform/assess model design verification to ensure the M&S design reflects the validated concept and requirements.
• Document M&S capabilities, limitations, assumptions and risk/impact; provide mitigation strategies.
• Translate stakeholder M&S needs into system-level M&S requirements within SRDs.
