Mission Driven Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Virginia.

You will lead or participate in analysis of future Missile Defense System architectures and develop modeling and simulation (M&S) tools to support architecture assessment. The role requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain TS/SCI, a STEM degree, and 7+ years of missile defense experience within large DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM Field with 7+ years of missile defense experience in large DoD programs
• Solid understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts
• Experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures
• Strong skill in interpreting results and presenting findings clearly
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written, and collaboration to achieve objectives
• Strong time management skills and prioritization of tasks by importance and urgency

Responsibilities

• Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities to develop potential architecture solutions
• Assist in developing analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools, post-process results, and prepare briefs/reports
• Support modeling and simulation efforts to tailor tools to analysis plans
