Qualifications

• Requires two years of college with computer science coursework or equivalent professional IT experience.
• 1 year experience in network administration/supervision.
• MCSA/MCSE Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Pearson VUE Administration Certification within six months of employment date.
• DOD Information Systems require IAT Level I Certification (A+ preferred) or ability to obtain within six months of employment date (DOD 8570.01-M).

Responsibilities

• Maintains computer/ADP systems, including local area networks.
• Performs computer upgrades including software/hardware upgrades and repairs within in-house capabilities.
• Assists departments with hardware/software selection and requirements, providing cost analysis for new tech.
• Updates, modifies, and designs new applications for administrative data processing and monitoring.
• Conducts reviews of computer technology developments and prepares long-range forecasts for agency applications.
