Qualifications

• One year of tire repair or mechanical repair experience.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Must complete competencies and pass a written assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of tires on mobile equipment.
• Diagnose tire and wheel issues; patches, plugs, stems as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance; monitor tread depth and tire condition.
• May perform basic welding tasks using a cutting torch.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and small mobile gear.
• Maintain work orders and keep a clean, safe work area.
• Follow hot tire replacement safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
