Qualifications

• 1 year of tire repair or mechanical repair experience with maintenance.
• Ability to read and use schematics.
• Completion of required academic and practical competencies and passing a safety assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of tires on mobile equipment.
• Repair tires, diagnose tire and wheel issues, patches, plugs, stems, and tire replacement decisions.
• Perform preventative maintenance including tire/wheel condition checks and pressure monitoring.
• May perform basic welding with cutting torch.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, small mobile equipment, and impact guns.
• Maintain work orders, keep a clean, safe area, and conduct inspections.
• May perform hot tire replacement and follow safety procedures.
• Other duties as required.
