Job summary

Turner Staffing Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to drive end-to-end recruiting for mining operations in the Elko, NV area. This project-based role partners with site HR and operations to fill critical roles and keep production moving.

You will source and screen candidates, schedule interviews and site visits, manage data in the ATS, and coordinate onboarding and background checks, all while upholding safety-first practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years coordinating high-volume recruiting in industrial/mining or 24/7 operations.
• Ability to manage 30+ concurrent requisitions while hitting time-to-fill metrics.
• Hands-on experience with an enterprise ATS and scheduling tools; comfortable with hourly and salaried pipelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a safety-critical environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Fill 90% of open requisitions within agreed time-to-fill targets by coordinating end-to-end recruiting workflows across Elko-based and remote mine sites.
• Source and screen 40+ qualified candidates per month for hourly, technical, and professional roles using ATS, job boards, and Nevada networks.
• Schedule and execute interviews, assessments, and site visits on time, delivering a consistent candidate experience that reflects safety-first culture.
• Reduce offer-to-start cycle time through accurate documentation, background checks, and onboarding coordination with HR and operations.
• Maintain 98% data integrity in the ATS so hiring managers have real-time visibility into pipeline health.
• Support high-volume campaigns that deliver fully staffed crews while maintaining safety/compliance standards.
